At the beginning of each year, I like to create a list of all the books I’m planning to read that year. Last year, our former CEO at work sent me his list (he has the best lists for business/self improvement books). I read quite a few from his list and also found a number of other books I wanted to read myself.
This years list contains a few leftover from last year, that I never got to read. Hopefully I can knock them out this year, although with a baby on the way in less than 6 weeks, who knows if that’ll be possible.
2022 Reading List (so far)
- Ina May’s Guide to Childbirth
- What to Expect When You’re Expecting
- The Lost Art of Dress
- The Secret
- The Body Keeps the Score
- Rich Dad Poor Dad
- Blue Zones: 9 Lessons for Living Longer
- An Echo in the Bone (book 7 in the Outlander series)
- Written in My Own Heart’s Blood (book 8 in the Outlander series)
- Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone (book 9 in the Outlander series)
- The Lost Book of Herbal Remedies
I also have a free random fiction series on Kindle called The Dragon Blood Collection that I am going to read, but I’m not including it on the list. The first book was meh, at best, but it only took 4 hours to read, so I’ll read the other two in the series as well.
This list will likely evolve as the year progresses and I find more books I’m interested in. I’ll read pretty much anything, but the majority of my reading is non-fiction. When I do read fiction, it’s normally in the fantasy genre. I do not care for romance novels, mysteries, thrillers, etc. I prefer my stories to be fanciful and impossible to happen in real life.
What’s on your 2022 reading list?
